This week was pretty exciting, with many experiences!
I learned how to stretch canvas as Scott prepared this year’s INK-N-IRON KUSTOM CULTURE FESTIVAL 2015 IN LONG BEACH!!!!
It’s difficult work, but the results are very satisfying! The creation of art from start to finish!
Here I am, dutiful apprentice, fetching the bars for canvas stretching!!
As you can tell, the painting is huge, and I am very short.
Below is the painting, waiting for its moment of glory!
Here is Scott, prepping the bars! Making sure it’s done right!
Stretching the canvas over the bars…
…TA-DA~!! Here is the beautiful finished piece!
Titled, “CROMIAN”, 4ft tall, with Oil.

Now, for THIS WEEK’S TATTOOS!!
Scott finished a GORGEOUS Peacock-Phoenix on one of our wonderful clients, also named Scott!!
Took a lot of blood, sweat and green soap, but it is complete, and Scott#2 sat through it all like a rock and took it like a champ! And it’s only the beginning of a bodysuit!!!
The fantastic Mr. Scott, with his fantastic tattoo:
We also had an awesome traditional ship wheel, right at the elbow! Just an in-progress pic for now…
Alright guys, thanks for checking in again, and I’ll see you next week!!
